TRAC is a leading advocate for consumer-friendly policies at both the state and federal levels. For nearly 25 years, TRAC has advocated on behalf of residential and small business consumers of telecommunications products and services. TRAC staff work to promote the public interest in telecommunications via filings at the FCC and state regulatory bodies, by participating in coalition efforts aimed at helping consumers, and by producing reports aimed at generating public policies beneficial to consumers.
