How to File a Complaint with the FCC
If you believe you have been ripped off by a long distance or wireless carrier, you can now file a complaint with the Federal Communications Commission over the Internet. The Federal Communications Commision regulated only INTERSTATE telecommunications services. But that covers a lot of areas, including the following
- All state-to-state voice telephone calling.
- Wireless services of any sort. (They use the air waves, which are regulated by the Federal Government)
- Slamming - unauthorized switching of your long distance service.
- Cramming - unauthorized items on your telephone bill.
