Tele-Tips(TM) Update

Please note the following changes to the September issue of Tele-Tips™ which occurred after publishing:

Standard Rate Plans

  • The calling time periods for MCI calling plans other than their flat rate plans (including standard rates) have changed. They now are:

Peak: M-F, 7am-7pm;
Off-peak: all other times.

Rates for MCI Dial-1 have also changed.

Flat Rate with Single Time Period

  • MCI One® has been renamed. The name for the plan listed in the chart has changed. It is now referred to as MCI One® Advanced.

Term Commitment Plans

  • MCI no longer offers the special 20% cash back option under MCI One® with Cash Back for new customers. MCI will honor it until the end of the year period if you currently are on the plan.
Remember: Plans change often and competition results in even more frequent rate and service changes. Changes are current as of September 23, 1997.
